Description
A crescent moon cradling three stars, a timeless celestial symbol.
This coin pendant features a replica of a Roman coin from the ancient province of Moesia Inferior dating from the second century AD, cast in silver. Stamped with MAPKIANOΠOΛITΩN, signifying the city of Marcianopolis.
The process
First we create a mould of the antique coin, then create a wax copy and finally cast it in metal. Subtle variations in the process make each coin pendant unique, so it may vary from the photo.
Each piece is designed and handcrafted in our home studio in London. Made to be worn by any gender, our jewellery is crafted with sustainability in mind, ensuring it withstands the test of time.
